To sword fighters who wear pajamas, and helpful elves.

This first drawing is inspired by the first Doctor Who episode starring David Tennet called "The Christmas Invasion". In the climactic scene (spoilers) the new Doctor wakes up from his regenerative coma only to wind up in a sword fight with a menacing alien on top of a space ship that is hovering a mile above London while still wearing his pajamas. When I saw this episode I was excited by the prospect of a Doctor that wore pajamas and got into sword fights, but sadly this was the only instance of both things ever occurring. Still, this drawing is dedicated to all those pajama clad sword fighters out there.

I remember a story I heard during my childhood about a cobbler, or shoe maker, and some elves who go about some nocturnal activities. Ah, here it is. Anyway, what if those elves are still around, eh? And what are they up to now that there aren't really any shoemakers anymore?

Short Movie

A brief film I made one Saturday afternoon using items found in the house. I shot, edited, and shamelessly added special effects using only the phone. The fridge artwork was drawn by my roommate and the proprietor of the house, James. And I must give a shout out to the ghost of Jim Morrison. Sorry for using your song. I thought it fit. But the good news is if someone follows the link to the actual youtube page they can find a link to buy an MP3 file of the song so that, even though you are dead, Jim, the people who own the rights to your music can still make money and everyone is happy. Except, of course, for the pink rabbit in this movie.

Watch . . .

First post in which I share some of my drawings.

I started drawing on my phone using an App called SketchBook Mobile for iPhone. So far this has been one of the best uses for my phone that I've discovered so far. I've been interested in creating digital art for a while now but until now have barely dabbled in it. These are my completed drawings so far:

Early drawing. Wanted to draw someone who looked like Geddy Lee. I didn't have a picture of  him in front of me and this is what I came up with.

Inspired by the many corporate meetings I must attend as part of my job. For the background I used an App called Space Paint which despite being limited in it's scope is probably the most fun photo editor app I've played with.

That's it for now.
